Mrs. Fultz's fifth grade learned all about cranberries and how they came to be a favored food at Thanksgiving time. They learned the history of cranberries in America, discovered important uses for cranberries long ago like dyeing clothing, made cranberry rafts as a STEM project, baked cranberry orange bread, and taste-tested the bread, fresh & dried cranberries, as well as cranberry juice.

Mrs. Becker's class loved getting to see and feel authentic Native American clothing and blankets! Thank you to the Moultrie County Historical Society! This amazing organization allowed first grade to borrow all sorts of amazing things to help our students learn more about Native Americans. Everyone should check out their museum!
