Members of the Sullivan Middle School 8th grade class had the opportunity to attend the 8th Grade Career Conference at Lake Land College yesterday. The students heard an oustanding keynote address from author and motivaitonal speaker Brooks Harper and then spent some time meeting people from a wide range of professions to learn more about the opportunities that will await them after high school.
This afternoon's track meet @ Meridian MS has been cancelled due to the weather. Team will now practice in the armory after school from 3:30 - 4:30 PM. #OneTribe

MS Track Schedule Change (5/8): Originally scheduled Home MS Track Meet on May 8th has been cancelled. Team will now be heading to the Teutopolis Invitational on May 8th starting at 4:30 PM.

As a result of showing outstanding sportsmanship in the Regional Championship and Sectional Championship game, Emma Drake and Elin Watkins were awarded the IESA Sportsmanship pin! They both received this for displaying the following characteristics in the game:
-Shows a positive attitude towards teammates, opponents, and officials.
-Gives best effort on the court.
-Does not argue calls and is respectful to officials.
-Displays positive body language at all times.
-Helps elevate the play and behavior of their teammates and peers.

8th Grade Lady Redskins unfortunately fall to Morris Saratoga in the State Tournament. It was an incredible match and effort by our girls. They have a ton to be proud of this season. First State Tournament appearance in school history, Sectional Champions, and Regional Champions! Way to go girls! We are so proud of you! There will be a pep rally taking place in the SES Gym starting at 1:30 PM to send the girls off. Show up and show your support!
