Conference Champs! Big shoutout to our SMS 8th Grade Lady Redskins! With last night’s victory over ALAH, our 8th Grade Girls Basketball team clinched the JHOC regular-season conference championship for the second year in a row! Congratulations, ladies — your hard work, grit, and dedication continue to make us proud. Back-to-back champs! #OneTribe

SMS conducted their fall sports assembly this morning. Coaches had an opportunity to recognize their teams and speak on their seasons. Joe Marks awards were presented at this assembly. This award goes to an 8th grade athlete that demonstrates-leadership on and off the field, and is consumed with Redskin Pride!

Schedule Update (11/18): 5th Grade Boys Basketball game vs Villa Grove has been cancelled due to low numbers. Sullivan 5th grade will still play at 6 PM tomorrow night against Mattoon 6th Grade "B" team. 6th Grade game vs Mattoon to follow in the SMS Gym. #OneTribe

7th Grade IESA Girls Basketball Regional brackets have been released! Sullivan received the #2 seed for the tournament at St. Joe MS! Sullivan will play Shelbyville this Saturday, November 22nd starting at approximately 2:15 PM @ St. Joseph Middle School (606 E. Peters Drive, St. Joseph). Bracket for the tournament is attached. Schedule Change (11/10): Tonight's JH Boys Basketball matchup @ Tri-County has been postponed due to the heat not working in their gym. Game will now be rescheduled to Thursday, December 11th @ Sullivan MS Gym starting at 6 PM (originally vs Meridian, will now be vs Tri-County) #OneTribe

Schedule Update: Next Monday's (11/10) JH Boys Basketball game @ Tri-County will be played at Oakland HS starting at 6 PM. #OneTribe

Good luck to our SMS Boys Basketball and 5/6 Boys Basketball teams who tip-off their seasons tonight! SMS Boys will be in action at the SMS Gym starting at 6 PM vs Casey-Westfield. 5/6 Boys Basketball will travel to Meridian Elementary School to play Meridian starting at 5:30 PM. Also, SMS Girls Basketball is back in action this evening starting at 6 PM vs Maroa-Forsyth in the SHS Gym! Go Redskins! #OneTribe

Congratulations to our 8th Grade Lady Redskins basketball team who wins the JHOC Tournament Championship in an absolute thriller vs Tuscola 40-38! Our 7th Grade Girls competed hard in their championship matchup vs a very tough Cerro-Gordo/Bement team and unfortunately lost 28-16. We are proud of you all! Go Lady Redskins! #OneTribe

Congratulations to both our 7th and 8th Grade Lady Redskins Basketball teams who are advancing to the JHOC Conference Tournament championship game! Games will be played this Thursday, October 30th in the HS Gym. 7th Grade will play Cerro-Gordo/Bement @ 6:00 PM & 8th Grade will play Tuscola starting at 7:15 PM. Our 7th Grade Lady Redskins Basketball team picks up the win in JHOC Tournament action this morning over Okaw Valley, with a final score of 41-15! The girls will move on to play Arcola on Tuesday night (10/28) starting at 6 PM in the HS Gym! 8th Grade will play their matchup vs Villa Grove afterwards at 7:15 PM in the HS Gym! Sullivan Middle School is excited to host this year’s JHOC Girls Basketball Conference Tournament, taking place in both the Middle School and High School gyms!

🎟️ Admission:

Adults: $3

Seniors & Children (over age 5): $2

(Set by the JHOC Conference — passes will not be accepted.)

📺 Livestream:
All games will be broadcast live on Hudl TV for those unable to attend in person.

Bracket is attached.

Sullivan 8th Grade has received a first-round bye and will not play Saturday due to their opponent’s forfeit (low numbers).

Sullivan 7th Grade will face Okaw Valley at approximately 11:30 AM in the High School Gym.

The SMS Cross Country team had an outstanding showing at the state meet! The girls placed 7th overall in Class 2A, with Avery Hess (9th) and Aubrey Fultz (19th) earning All-State honors! Khiry Campbell also impressed, finishing 37th overall and was the first 5th grader to cross the finish line! What an incredible finish to a great season! We are #OneTribe ❤️🖤

Good luck to our SMS XC team who competes in the IESA State XC Meet this morning @ Maxwell Park in Normal! Had the opportunity to recognize the team yesterday morning, and send our State qualifiers off! Girls Race begins at 10:45 AM and the Boys race will begin at 11:30 AM! Congratulations to our Girls Sectional Champs with all 7 runners finishing in the top 33! Avery Hess 3rd overall (12:21) and Aubrey Fultz 4th overall (12:40). Boys finished 6th overall against steep competition. Khiry Campbell qualified for state finishing 5th overall (11:42)! Way to Go Redskins! #OneTribe
