The SMS Lady Redskins opened up JHOC conference play this evening vs Arcola at home. Both 7th and 8th grade are victorious! 7th Grade wins with a score of 44-6 and 8th Grade wins 41-12. Way to go, Lady Redskins! 🏀 ❤️🖤#OneTribe

Sullivan MS Cross Country had a great day at the CGB Invitational this morning!
The girls team won the meet with a perfect score of 15, sweeping the top seven spots:
1st – Avery Hess
2nd – Aubrey Fultz
3rd – Harley Alms
4th – Libby Wall
5th – Kylan Hall
6th – Harper Standerfer
7th – Sadie Meadows
The boys team placed 2nd overall, led by Khiry Campbell’s 2nd place finish!

SMS XC competed at home this evening against Clinton, Trinity Lutheran, Mattoon St. John’s, Okaw Valley, and Villa Grove. The girls’ team had a strong showing, taking first place with 23 points. Top finishers included Avery Hess, Aubrey Fultz, Harley Alms, Libby Wall, and Harper Standerfer! The boys’ team also ran well, earning second place with 56 points. Leading the way were Khiry Campbell, Bryce Badman, Aydan Rubush, Gideon Walk, and Oliver Florey! The teams will compete next on Saturday at the Cerro Gordo/Bement Invitational, beginning at 8:30 a.m. #OneTribe
At Tuesday night’s Sectional matchup vs. Heyworth, the IESA awarded a Sportsmanship Pin to one athlete from each team who displayed the following qualities:

-Maximum effort on the field

The SMS cross country team competed at home tonight against Maranatha Baptist Academy, Tri-County, and Trinity Lutheran. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams claimed first place. The girls secured the win with just 16 points, led by top finishers Avery Hess, Aubrey Fultz, Kylan Hall, Libby Wall, and Harper Standerfer. The boys followed with a strong performance, finishing with 23 points. Their top five were Khiry Campbell, Aydan Rubush, Bryce Badman, Braxton Gilbert, and Griffin Woods. The teams return to action on Tuesday at home, racing at Tabor Park starting at 4:30 p.m! Way to go Redskins! #OneTribe

At the Regional Championship game on Saturday, the IESA awarded Sportsmanship pins to one athlete from each competing team. Kylie Wickline was selected as the recipient from Sullivan!

Judd Sanner had an outstanding showing at the IESA State Golf Tournament yesterday! ⛳️ As just a 7th grader, Judd placed 66th out of 94 of the best golfers in the entire State of Illinois. An incredible accomplishment and a great foundation for the future of Sullivan Golf. Way to go, Judd! 👏 #OneTribe
