Sullivan Middle School

For the Week of August 2nd-August 8th, SMS Softball will practice at Crowder Park in Bethany from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday 8/4 and Thursday 8/6. For those athletes whose parents/guardians are unable transport or arrange a ride with another parent, there will be an option for them as well. If your athlete will need a ride at any point during the week, please complete the form below. Only athletes who have completed this form will be able to utilize this transportation. This form needs to be completed by 3:00pm on Monday, 8/3 to ensure there is adequate transportation available for the week. Transportation will leave from the back parking lot by the Commons 45 minutes before scheduled practice time. At the end of practice, athletes will be dropped off in the back Commons parking lot.

The SMS golf program will meet at the Sullivan Country Club on August 4th-6th from 1:00-3:30 pm for tryouts. If you are interested in playing this year, please reach out to Coach Andy Wagner at wagnera@sullivan.k12.il.us. **Reminder students must have an up to date physical on file and be registered for school in order to participate. **

SMS Softball Tryouts Tonight (7/27): Due to potential for storms, tryouts will take place indoors this evening. Girls will meet at the MS Gym from 7:00-8:30 PM. Girls can wear shorts and must bring a pair of gym shoes! Reminder: athletes must have an up to date physical on file and be registered for school in order to participate. #OneTribe

SMS Baseball update: We will start holding mini camps in July 8:30-10am. Meet at the JFL practice field. Dates are 7/6, 7/8, 7/13, 7/15, 7/20, 7/22 and our week camp 7/27-7/30. Tryouts/official start date 8/3 Must have up to date physical and enrolled in Sullivan Middle School to be eligible on 8/3. July dates are optional - thank you, Coach Badman

Clarification on last post: SMS XC Fun Run locations for Summer - Tuesday's meet @ Tabor & Thursday's meet @ Track.

SMS XC Fun Run's have began! They run on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 7-8 AM. Tuesday's meet at the Track and Thursday's meet at Tabor Park. Any middle school athlete is encouraged to come out and work on speed skills as this is not exclusive to XC! There is a Remind page that coaches utilize.
