With the softball season officially over, these ladies were able to have a get together on Labor Day prior to their Regional matchup victory over ALAH. These ladies showed tremendous grit all season and have shown incredible improvement over their 3 years in the sport. We thank them for their effort, resilience, and time they put into the MS Softball program. We cannot wait to see them continue their love for the sport in High School. This week, our 6th Grade Golden Stand recipient is Madelyn Wilhelm. Madelyn is always ready to go at the start of class and has demonstrated great technique and performance of the first five notes that we have learned this week. Our Section of the Week is the flute section. After one week, they have all found their sound on the flute and have worked through some of the tricky, early finger positions on their instruments.

Our 7th & 8th Grade Golden Stand recipient is Michaela Blickensderfer. Michaela always brings a positive attitude and is a great role model for our younger students in the band. The Section of the Week is the percussion section. They have worked hard this week learning marching percussion instruments in preparation for their 7th & 8th Grade Invite Night performance with the High School Marching Band on 9/18. This includes a cadence, stand tunes, school songs, and the Star-Spangled Banner!
