Mrs. Kirby had Ms. Lawson come in with the Moultrie County History Center's Great Depression & WWII tubs with artifacts from the time period. Students were able to see and touch the items from the time period and get more of a feel for what the culture was like in Moultrie County in the 1930s and 1940s.

An absolute roller coaster of a game! The Lady Redskins hung with Mt Carmel the entire game and fell 39-37. An incredible season ends at 29-4 with a regional championship, conference season and tournament championship! Great job to the girls and coaches, thanks for the ride!

Students in Mrs. Badmans Honors English III class had the opportunity to work with the district's VR headsets as part of an intro activity for Of Mice and Men. They were able to explore the setting of the novel, which will give them a better perspective of what's going once they start reading. What an awesome resource to have that adds some life to our reading!

SHS baseball held its annual Wiffle Ball tournament as they go into the last week before spring season begins. It was a great matchup between Team Red and Team Black; ultimately, Team Red came out on top in one-run win with a final score of 6-5.

On February 20, the National Honor Society held their annual Pork Chop Dinner, our one fundraiser for the year. Our members proudly served our community and even donated some meals to the fire station and sheriff's office. A huge thank you to Staci Huckstep in the kitchen who makes nights like this possible.
