NHS members played an important role at the annual SCEF Teacher Appreciation Dinner, volunteering their time to serve food and help with clean up. It was a great example of service and leadership in action!

Band Section of the Week Honors for last week go to the HS Low Brass, 7th/8th Grade Saxophones, and the 6th Grade Upper Woodwinds.
The HS Low Brass have handled sight reading duties really well this last week, which included rocking a walking bass line in Cantina Band (from Star Wars).
The 7th/8th Grade Saxophones have maintained a solid section balance and have also done an excellent job sight reading their new music.
The 6th Grade Upper Woodwinds have continued to grow and become more confident in the music that they are rehearsing for performance, which includes two new pieces that they received this past week.
You can hear all of these sections in action on April 28th at 6 PM when they perform in the Band Program's Spring Concert!
