🏐 Support Squad Showdown = SUCCESS! 🏐
What a night! The Underclassman Support Squad took the first match, but the Upperclassman Volleyball Players stormed back to win the second — sealing it with a last-minute “Win It All” card!
We saw sneaky talent, plenty of hilarious moments, and just enough friendly competition to keep everyone on their toes. Best of all, no ambulances were needed — so we’ll call that a win!
Some support squad members might be sporting a few extra bruises and ice packs tomorrow, but all in the name of supporting our players. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who came out, cheered, donated, and made this fundraiser a huge success!
📅 Mark your calendars:
• Preview Night – Friday, August 22
• Opening Night vs. Meridian – Monday, August 25 at HOME

We recognize the vital role these individuals play in the community and wanted to share our appreciation for the upcoming year!

Hey, Class of 2026! This one’s just for you: come celebrate the start of your senior year at Senior Sunrise on Friday, 8/15 at 6am!
Grab your blanket or chair, and watch the sun rise on what’s sure to be your best year yet.
(This is a 2026 senior-only event.)

Our amazing Class of 2026 is making their mark today by painting their parking spots! This annual tradition is such a fun way for seniors to show off their creativity and kick off their final year in style.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, 8/5, 2026 seniors will be painting their parking spots. No cars should be parked in the back parking lot. We are looking forward to sharing pictures of the freshly painted spots later tomorrow!

Mark your calendars for all the SHS athletic events this fall! A couple big changes made recently:
- Cerro Gordo-Bement Football will not have a Varsity season due to their co-op with Arcola, so SHS will take a forfeit win Week 4 (9/19/25) and will have a bye week.
- No officials were available for the Varsity Football game at Cumberland Friday night Week 7, so our game will be played at noon (12:00 pm) on Saturday, October 11
