The Through Their Eyes: A Holocaust Art and Writing Contest 2025 Awards Ceremony was held last Sunday in Champaign. In the 11th/12th grade painting and drawing division, Madison Flexser won 1st place and Jade McKee won 2nd place. In the 9th/10th grade painting and drawing division, Claire Kursell won 1st place and Ava Johnson won 2nd place. In the 9th/10th prose division River Polley won 1st place. Madison Flexser also won Best in Show in Art with her piece, "The Silent Tears from History". Congratulations!

Juniors in Mrs. Badman's classes took a little brain break today in preparation for the upcoming ACT exam. They spent time coloring pages with motivational sayings as well as playing "Would You Rather?" Good luck to all juniors taking the test on Tuesday!





BOYS & GIRLS TRACK Senior Night is Tuesday, April 22nd at the conclusion of the 1600m run during the Tri-County Track Invite
Senior athletes and their parents/guardians need to meet on the north end of the bleachers next to the track entrance no later than the conclusion of the 300m hurdles event.
*Rain Date will be Redskin Invitational on May 6th

SHS Athletics & Extracurriculars this week!


SHS Human Anatomy and Physiology and AP Biology students had the opportunity to visit Lakeland College's Anatomy & Physiology Lab to view their cadavers and their Anatomage tables today. Huge thank you to Lakeland's Marc Dalponte for volunteering his time to lead the tour today!
