Several SHS FCCLA members, along with a few students from SHS FCS classes, volunteered several hours of their time on Saturday to assist with the bounce houses at the Heritage Woods Easter Extravaganza and Egg Hunt. As FCCLA closes out their 2024-2025 school year, we are so grateful for all the community involvement opportunities that our young leaders were able to participate in thanks to the graciousness of the local businesses we were able to partner with.

SHS FCCLA(Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) recently received word from National FCCLA that they earned recognition for being a Gold Level chapter in the 2024-2025 Go For The Red Membership Recruitment Campaign! Chapters that demonstrate exceptional recruitment efforts and increase their membership by at least 20 members are eligible to apply for this yearly award. Sullivan High School FCCLA is proud to announce they are only chapter in the state of Illinois to earn this Gold recognition for increasing membership from 22 members in 2023-2024 to 60 members for the 2024-2025 year!
As we celebrate the leadership commitment that our chapter members have embodied and exemplified this year, we strive to leave our lasting legacies within our own community and state. While we have watched several of our members find their beacon of inspiration upon their own leadership journeys within this organization, we are also proud to witness the enduring power of seeking the "old and precious values" defined by our Creed. This foundation will continue to provide opportunities for these students to build upon their leadership development and pave a path for future careers.

These 2024 graduated seniors have yearbooks to pick up in the high school office. They will be available until 5/15/25. To have a book sent home with a sibling, please email Sarah Britton at brittons@sullivan.k12.il.us. Order your 2024-25 book ASAP at Jostens.com. There is still time to use J-Pay and break down the $75 cost into 3 payments.

A big LPC win for the ladies today, 12-1 over Tri-County! Leading the way is J'Nai Webb with her first career home run!

The Tri-County Track Invitational is tomorrow! We really need volunteers to help, especially with shotput and discus! Please reach out to Coach Bertetto or Taylor if you can help! No experience is required

Rain or shine, these NHS students were ready to spread some Easter joy around Sullivan.
