SHS Athletics going on this week - make it out to some Senior Day recognitions!

Sullivan hosted its first Varsity Volleyball tournament today, and those in attendance got to watch some incredible games, almost every one of which went 3-sets! Congratulations to Aeralyn Thrasher, who made the All-Tournament team! Sullivan finished in 4th place, falling short in 3-set matches to the eventual champion Warrensburg-Latham and Maroa-Forsyth and came out on top against CHBC

A huge day for Sullivan Volleyball - we are hosting a 6-team Varsity tournament in the SHS Gym today!!! Come on out and see our girls take home a championship!

NHS is thrilled continue our monthly Bless a Teacher tradition where one teacher from each building is randomly selected to be treated to their favorite snack and drink. Let's congratulate September's Bless a Teacher: Mr. Campbell, SES; Ms. Mott, SMS; and Ms. Pistorius, SHS. Congratulations! 🥳

It's GAME DAY for SHS Football! The Varsity boys look to continue their undefeated record against Nokomis at home! Let's pack the stadium!

An incredible way to open up the new SHS gym, with all our volleyball teams coming up victorious over Altamont tonight!

We are incredibly excited to open up our new SHS Gym tonight for the Volleyball game against Altamont! We want to remind our community of a few things that may be different than what has been accustomed to in the past. We thank you all for your cooperation in keeping our gym in beautiful condition!

- No outside food or drinks can come in the gymnasium (Yetis, Stanleys, etc.) - anything purchased from the concessions stand by supporting the clubs and Athletic Boosters can be brought into the gym
- Stay off the court after the game - there is plenty of room outside the gym and on the 2nd floor to congregate

It's GAME DAY!!! The Sullivan Lady Redskins Volleyball team takes on Altamont in the NEW SHS GYM tonight!!!

Come out for your first chance to see the gym in action and cheer on the ladies to victory!

HS Boys Golf comes home with a victory today led by Jett Kinder and Drew Woolen!

​It's hard to believe, but some Senior Days are already coming up on the schedule!
- Cross Country - Tuesday September 9th at 4:15 pm
- Golf - Thursday September 11th at 3:45 pm

The high school cross country team kicked off the season with a great performance at the Light It Up Invite in Clinton. The boys placed 13th out of 30 placing teams and the girls finished 14th out of 25.

The boys were led by Johnathon Iacobazzi placing 3rd in 14:58 and the girls were led by Julia Moody placing 12th with a time of 18:44.

A great start to the season - Sullivan Football takes down Arcola 61-6 to move to 1-0 on the season! Next up, Nokomis next Friday at home!

Be on the lookout for turnovers tonight Redskin fans! Every time Arcola turns the ball over, cheerleaders will be throwing out mini-footballs redeemable for a 4-piece nugget a McDonald's!
