We are less than a week away from the 2025 Winter Concert on December 10th. Performances will be in the Sullivan Middle School Gymnasium.
The Choral Program performance will kick the evening off at 6 PM and the Band Program performance will follow at 7 PM. Performing groups include: Sullivan Singers Mini, Sullivan Middle School Choir, Sullivan Singers Jr, Sullivan Singers, 6th Grade Band, Jazz Combo, 7th & 8th Grade Band, and High School Band. There will be a short break between Choral and Band performances.
Come out and support our awesome music students as they perform and celebrate with music of the season!
To earn this honor, students first audition for the All-District level ensemble and must make the cut into that ensemble. The district then sends their top auditions from those in the All-District band to be considered for state selection. Thus, members of this band represent some of the very best junior high musicians from around the state.
The ILMEA All-State Junior High Band will perform on January 30th at 6 PM in Carver Arena as a part of the Illinois Music Education Conference in Peoria, IL.
No plans this Saturday evening, December 6? Come and join us for Movie Night on the upper level of the SHS Gym. We will be showing not one, but TWO holiday movies for Sullivan students and families to enjoy! So wear your comfy clothes, grab some friends and we will see you at 5:00 p.m. for the first movie, with a second movie to follow at 7:30 p.m. $3.00 for one movie or $5.00 for a double feature. We promise your heart will grow even larger and you will sing loud for all to hear before the night ends.
