Schedule Change: Due to some conflicts, the HS Girls Track Banquet has been rescheduled - it will now be a team breakfast at 7:00 am in the Commons on Thursday, 5/22. Parents are welcome to attend, no RSVP necessary, and send-off our girls headed to IHSA State Prelim's that day!

Mason Booker also resets his school record in the 300m Hurdles tonight at St. Teresa with a 39.98!
Johnny Iacobazzi runs a 4:21.28 in the 1600m tonight at the St. Teresa Invitational to set a new SHS record! His time breaks the previous record of 4:23.1 set in 1986 by Derik Eaton!
Mason Booker resets his school record and earns first place in the 110m Hurdles at tonight's St. Teresa Invitational with a time of 14.76! Mason now has the second fastest time in the state in 1A in 110m Hurdles and the fastest time in the state for the 300m Hurdles!
A shoutout to our Bass Fishing team, they advanced out of the Lake Mattoon regionals and will head to Clinton Lake for sectionals!
Tomorrow, SHS Softball hosts the Jerry Lane Memorial Tournament! Four high-quality softball teams will take the field - come out and check out our girls in action!

Congratulations to our Six SHS Girls Track members that advanced to the IHSA Class 1A finals next Thursday in Charleston! Riane Bear won the High Jump and set a new school record of 5'5.5"! Devon Richardson hit qualifying standards in both long jump and triple jump, while the 4 x 100 relay of Mya Dyer, Avery Renfro, Grace Crothers, and Kelsie Hodge finished in 2nd place to also qualify!
Ms. Tungate’s Intro to Ag class teamed up with the 2nd grade for a fun and educational day all about dairy! Students learned together and beat the heat by making and enjoying homemade ice cream. It was a great opportunity for hands-on learning and building connections across grade levels!

Miller Photography will be taking individual senior portraits prior to graduation Sunday, May 18th in the high school commons after about 12:30ish. We encourage all seniors to come get their picture taken as the yearbook staff can use these in the book; you have the option to purchase these at this time.
