As many of you know, the Sullivan Athletic Boosters rely on our football concessions as a major fundraiser to support all Sullivan Athletics. Unfortunately, the recent bad weather has drastically impacted our fundraising efforts. But you can still help, even if the weather is gloomy! 🌧️
Tonight, we’re offering drive-up meals at the football concessions stand starting at 5:30 PM. Just swing by the west entrance (SES side), grab a delicious meal, and support our Sullivan Athletes! 💪❤️

Middle & high school students were excited to try the new strawberry smoothie with mango boba, that was featured as a breakfast special this week. They were a huge hit! The elementary students will get their chance to try the smoothies next week.
With a perfect guess of 1,111 bookmarks, 1st grader Emberly is the winner of the Bookmark Guessing Game. She won a variety of prizes from the book fair. Thank you to all who attend the Scholastic Book Fair and for supporting our SES library!

This message is to clarify the email you may have received from skyward.
There is absolutely no charge for breakfast and lunch for grades K-8. The email you received is an automated message for students with a balance lower than $5. K-5 parents, the email does not mean you owe anything and you may opt out of receiving them in your skyward account. Grades 6-12 please check your students balances, Ala cart items are available for purchase at the MS/HS cafe. We never deny student a meal, we will however deny the purchase chips, cookies, anything outside of a complete meal, etc with a negative balance.

We're so excited to be back to school, providing our students healthy school meals, so they are ready to learn. K-8th grade can now eat both breakfast and lunch at no charge!!
Today started two NEW exciting programs at Sullivan Elementary. K-8 breakfast and lunch are at absolutely NO cost to families, $0. Please take full advantage of this program. We are encouraging students to dine in our Cafe's for both meals. Offer vs. Serve is new for our K-5 students. This means our students get to choose everything they eat! They choose their entree, fruits, veggies and whether they'd like a milk.
The family and friends of Aaron Jones will be gathering to celebrate his life on Sunday, August 11 at 2pm on Victory Field, and they’d be honored if you’d join them. Mr. Jones graduated from Sullivan High School in 2016, where he participated in the band program and earned the title of Drum Major for the Marching Redskins. Mr. Jones continued his education at EIU where he pursued music and once again earned the title of Drum Major. Mr. Jones returned to his hometown when he was hired as the Band Director and Music Teacher at Sullivan High School in 2022. He showed a passion for music and a love for working with the students. He displayed tremendous pride in his community and in being a part of Sullivan Schools. We are fortunate to have had Mr. Jones as part of the Sullivan Schools family. The family requests casual dress; if you are able, please wear apparel supporting Sullivan High School, Eastern Illinois University, or the SHS band program. In case you missed out on getting a sports physical yesterday at Sarah Bush, you have another chance in Decatur tomorrow through SIU Family Medicine!
All MS & HS athletes need an updated physical on file with the school before they can practice any sport!
Sarah Bush Clinic will be hosting their final date of Sports Physicals on 7/31 - all athletes planning to play sports this fall need to make sure they have an updated physical on file with the office before the first day of practice!

Welcome to the 2024 -2025 School Year!
Online Registration will be available starting tomorrow, Thursday, July 18th. Please complete the online registration for all of your students.
This year we have migrated from our older version of Skyward to a new version. You will be receiving an email with your username for family access and a link to setup or change a password or to login with your current password if you remember it. That email will come a little later today.
The links on our school website have been updated to the new Skyward so those will take you to the correct login screen as well.
If you want to update your Skyward Mobile App you will need to delete your credentials in the app, search for Sullivan CUSD to get the new version, and then log in to the app again. Once you have done that you will have access through the app.
When completing online registration it is better to do it on at least a tablet, but preferably a laptop or desktop machine as it is extremely hard to scroll through everything to make sure that you have fully completed the registration forms.
