Thursday, February 13th is our Jump Rope for Heart event! Each student will be jumping during their PE time, regardless if they participate in the fundraiser.
Students who are participating in the fundraiser will need to have all envelopes and donations turned in no later than Wednesday, February 19th. Any student who raises a minimum of $125.00 will get the chance to slime Mrs. Ethell.
SHS Girls Basketball Senior Night is tomorrow night 2/3/20 against St. Teresa. SHS girls basketball seniors and their parents/guardians need to meet Mr. Aikman in the SHS lobby by 6:30 PM. The recognition ceremonies will then begin immediately after the conclusion of the JV girls basketball contest. In addition, the JV game tomorrow night will only consist of 5 minute quarters so expect the start time for the Varsity game to be around 7:10 PM.

Statement Regarding Sullivan Show Choir Competition on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
As of the afternoon of Friday, January 24th, weather sources are forecasting overnight snow ranging from 2-6 inches for the area surrounding Crete-Monee with forecasted temperatures in the low 30’s during the timeframe that our Show Choir buses will be making their way to the competition venue. While we are incredibly proud of the tradition of excellence that exists in our Show Choir program and are very excited for them to compete on Saturday, we believe that a big part of “Thinking of Students First” is keeping their safety first and foremost in our decision making. We will continue to monitor weather forecasts throughout the evening, and the plan moving forward is to send our show choirs to Crete-Monee as planned; however, we will be sending an administrator along with the buses to continuously monitor road conditions to determine if the buses may proceed or should turn around and come home. If the decision is made that it is no longer safe to proceed, the buses will turn around as soon as it is safe to do so and return immediately to Sullivan High School. Notification of a decision to turn around would be communicated through the district’s social media platforms and through the Singers Booster Club.

Due to projected weather conditions, Singers Jr. will not be traveling and competing this evening (1/17) in the Mt. Zion Show Choir Invitational.
A decision on whether or not Singers Jr. will compete in the Mt. Zion Invitational this evening will be made by 3:00 PM today and published to social media.
SHS Girls Basketball Practice and SMS 7th Grade Volleyball Practice have been cancelled for today 1/17. The SHS JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games scheduled for today 1/17 against Warrensburg-Latham has been postponed to Monday 1/27 at 6:00 PM.
Taco Night at the SHS has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 11th from 4:30-7:30
