Sullivan Schools will dismiss early today due to inclement weather. SES will dismiss at 12:20pm and SMS/SHS will dismiss at 12:30pm. There will be no afternoon Early Childhood or Project Help classes. All after school practices and activities are canceled. Stay safe!

Depending on the timing of the weather, there is a chance that school may need to be dismissed early. If that is the case, a decision will be made around 10:30am, and SES will dismiss at 12:20pm and SMS/SHS will dismiss at 12:30pm. Again, as of this moment, there are no changes to the school day.
There is the possibility of inclement weather tomorrow. At this time, Sullivan Schools will be in session. If conditions are poor in the morning, a decision on whether school will be in session will be made around 5:45am. Depending on the timing of the weather, there is a chance that school may need to be dismissed early. If that is the case, a decision will be made around 11am tomorrow, and SES will dismiss at 12:20pm and SMS/SHS will dismiss at 12:30pm.
Again, as of this moment, there are NO CHANGES to the school day tomorrow, but we wanted parents to be aware of the possibility of school cancellation or early dismissal for planning purposes.

Senior Night for High School Boys Basketball and Winter Cheer is Friday February 18th. Senior athletes and their parents/guardians in boys basketball and winter cheerleading need to meet Mr. Aikman in the SHS lobby by no later than 6:30 PM. The recognition ceremonies will then begin immediately after the conclusion of the JV Boys Basketball contest.
The SHS Varsity Boys Basketball game vs. Brownstown St. Elmo on Saturday 2/12/22 will be played at Central A&M High School in Moweaqua at 11:30 AM.
SHS JV and Varsity Girls Basketball hosts St. Teresa High School at 6:00 PM in the SHS gym as a part of High School Girls Basketball and Swimming Senior Night. Senior athletes and their parents/guardians in girls basketball and swimming need to meet Mr. Aikman in the SHS lobby by no later than 6:30 PM. The recognition ceremonies will then begin immediately after the conclusion of the JV Girls Basketball contest. The JV contest will also consist of two 12 minute running clock halves so anticipated start time of the Varsity contest is 7:00 PM.

Tonight's SMS Volleyball games against Taylorville Junior High School at 6:00 PM in the SMS gym will consist of two 5th grade games only. There will be no 6th grade game played.

Redskins defeat Central A&M 48-35 and finish 1-2 in the CIC Boys Basketball Tournament. They will host Central A&M next on Tuesday 2/8
SHS Varsity Boys Basketball will play their CIC Boys Basketball Tournament game tonight 2/4 at 4:00 PM against Central A&M at Meridian High School in Macon.
