The five finalists from the VFW Patriot's Pen contest were recognized Tuesday afternoon by Social Science teacher Tara Standerfer and VFW Quartermaster Jolene Wright. Congratulations Raimi Gardner, Carly Fitzgerald, Caprice Smith, and Aaron Stutzman. Clayton Schmohe was awarded first place, and his essay was read for the student body.

8th Grade Students Are Great Readers Everyday!


7th grade math students were using old IGA grocery store ads to calculate unit rates. They really enjoyed having a practical application for the skills they were learning.

Students in Mr. Bales's 5th period health class assisted members of the Rotary Club plant trees in the community today. We are #OneTribe!


Mrs. Standerfer's students are using the Library of Congress to gather documents and photographs to analyze regarding the Homestead Act of 1862.

5th grade is live in action at Ag Safety Day at the Otto Center in Arthur! They had to test their reaction speed and now they are performing every day tasks with a disability simulation (loss of a finger, arm, leg, etc.) They are underdtabding the importance of being safe in their environment!


Mrs. Standerfer's classes are participating in the local VFW sponsored essay contest, Patriot's Pen "America's Gift to My Generation".


8th Grade Lady Redskins (seeded 6th) upset #1 seeded Warrensburg-Latham for a 37-30 win in Conference Tournament! The Lady Redskins finished 3rd overall! Great team effort tonight!
