Schedule Update: Sullivan will now be hosting the 7th Grade Boys Basketball Regional starting next Saturday (1/17). Brackets will be released later this week.

Regional schedule will be as follows:
-Saturday, January 17th @ 10 AM (3 games, HS Gym)
-Tuesday, January 20th @ 6:00 PM (2 games, MS Gym)
-Wednesday, January 21st @ 6:00 PM (1 game, MS Gym)

JHOC Boys Basketball Conference Tournament Brackets have been established. Sullivan received the #3 seed in the tournament! The boys will be taking on Tri-County in first round action on Saturday, January 10th. 7th Grade will play at 9:00 AM and 8th Grade will follow at approximately 10:15 AM. At this morning’s assembly, we were also honored to present the Joe Marks Award for Girls Basketball. This award is given to an 8th grade athlete from each sport who exemplifies leadership both on and off the court and consistently represents Redskin Pride. This year’s Girls Basketball Joe Marks Award recipient is Emma McCain! Congratulations, Emma! We are so proud of you! #OneTribe

We had the opportunity this morning to recognize our 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams in front of the entire school. These young ladies had a tremendous season, and it was special to celebrate their hard work and success alongside their peers. We also proudly presented the 8th grade team with the plaque for their Regular Season Conference Championship. Congratulations, ladies, on an outstanding season! #OneTribe

Schedule Update: The conference JH Boys Basketball game vs Tri-County has been rescheduled to next Tuesday, December 16th starting at 6 PM @ Kansas High School. The boys will now travel to Kansas for their conference matchup against the Titans. Good luck and Go Redskins! #OneTribe

SMS Boys Basketball practice this morning (12/12) has been cancelled. Team will have an OPTIONAL practice on Sunday (12/14) from 12:00-1:30 PM in the MS Gym.

At last nights Sectional Championship game, the IESA handed out sportsmanship pins to an individual from each team. Hailey Green was the recipient from Sullivan! Great job representing our school with the utmost sportsmanship, class, and dedication on and off the court! Here is the criteria for the award: The Outstanding Sportsmanship Pin is awarded throughout the state series to one member from each team in recognition of exemplary sportsmanship. Recipients of this honor consistently display a positive attitude toward teammates, opponents, and officials. They show a commitment to giving their best effort in the game and always maintain respectful conduct towards those around them. Additionally, they exhibit positive body language that uplifts and inspires both teammates and peers. This recognition celebrates athletes who embody the values of sportsmanship and enhance the competitive spirit of the game. Way to go Hailey! We are all so proud of you! #OneTribe

Schedule Update (12/11): Tonight's JH Boys Basketball game vs Tri-County has been cancelled due to Tri-County cancelling all after school events due to the impending winter weather.

The Lady Redskins battled all the way to the final whistle, coming up just short in the Sectional Championship, 25–21, against Lawrenceville Parkview. Due to Bethany power not being restored by the anticipated time, tonight's 5/6 Boys Basketball game has been cancelled. The boys are on their way back to Sullivan.

REGIONAL CHAMPS! HUGE Congratulations to our 8th Grade Lady Redskins on winning the Regional Championship this evening. They defeated Tolono Unity 33-27 and advance to the Sectional Championship at Teutopolis JH on Wednesday night starting at 6 PM. Way to go ladies! We are so proud of you! #OneTribe

SMS 8th Grade Lady Redskins get the win over Tuscola this evening in another instant classic! The Lady Reds advance to the Regional Championship game to be played Monday night @ Paris Mayo vs Tolono Unity starting at 6 PM! Good luck ladies! #OneTribe

The SMS Lady Redskins are victorious over Paris Mayo and advance to the second round of the Regional Tournament. The Lady Reds will take on Tuscola East Prairie in the 3rd installment of their battles this season! They will play at approximately 7:15 tomorrow night (12/5) in Paris Mayo!
