SMS practice updates for today due to the heat (8/6):
SMS Baseball will practice outside this afternoon for 1 hour from 3:30-4:30.
SMS Softball will practice outside from 7:00-8:30 this evening.
Reminder: SMS Fall Sports parent meeting for Baseball, Softball, and Cross County will take place tomorrow evening (Wednesday, 8/7) starting at approximately 5:00 PM in the SES Gym.
MS Sports Update
- Baseball tryouts will be held in the SES gym from 3.30-4:45. Gym shoes and shorts are required
- Softball practice will be held 7:00-8:30 pm at the North Diamond
SMS School Supply Lists
SMS Golf tryouts will take place this Thursday, August 8th starting at 8 AM at the Sullivan Country Club.
**Golfers must have an up to date physical on file and be registered for the 24-25 SY in order to tryout.**

SMS XC & Baseball Reminders:
-SMS Cross Country will have their first official practice on Monday, August 5th from 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM. Meet at the Track.
-SMS Baseball will have tryouts on Monday, August 5th from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM. Meet at Lane Field @ Wyman Park.
**Students must have an up to date physical turned in to the ES or HS office and be registered for the 24-25 SY in order to participate.**
SMS Softball Tryouts: Due to potential poor field conditions from storms and forecasted potential excessive heat, tryouts will be held indoors.
Tonight's session (Monday, 7/29) will be held in the HS Gym from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Tomorrow's session (Tuesday, 7/30) will be held in the Armory from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM.

Due to continued rain in the forecast, the SMS 5-8 Baseball Camp for today: Tuesday, July 16th has been cancelled. Tomorrow's final session (7/17) will be an extended 45 minutes to make up for today's cancellation. Tomorrow's camp (July 17th) will go from 3:30-5:45. Thank you for understanding - Go Redskins!
SMS 5-8 Baseball Camp is still on for this afternoon! Campers make sure you bring some water. With today's heat per the IESA guidelines, Today's session will only go for an hour from 3:30 - 4:30 PM with 20 minutes of rest breaks built in. Camp shirts will be handed out today as well!
