Thanks to Mr. Bertetto, Mrs. Swalls, Mrs. Bushue, and Coach Bales for helping out Mrs. Badman’s junior English classes as they wrapped up a mini-unit over improving their verbal and written communication skills. Students wrote out a list of instructions for these teachers to follow... their final drawings taught the students a lot about how well their instructions were articulated.

Mrs. Hardimon's classes (Alg 2, Alg I con., Calc) did an introductory activity that involves solving clues to open locks. The activity allows students to work as a team and activate previous knowledge. It also let's Mrs. Hardimon gauge retained concepts to determine a starting point and pace for the beginning of the semester. Plus, the competition is just so much fun!!
