Congratulations to the SOV Boys Swimming team on finishing in 6th place out of 21 teams in the IHSA Boys Swimming Sectional yesterday with 59 total points! This is a tremendous accomplishment considering SOV only had 3 individuals compete! Ethan Schmohe qualified for two events next week at the IHSA State Swimming meet finishing in 2nd place in the 50 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Backstroke. Other notable results included Matthew Wesselman taking 3rd place in the 500 Yard Freestyle and Isaac Chambers taking 7th place in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. #onetribe!

The SHS JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games scheduled for tonight 2/18 vs. Tuscola as a part of Senior Night are ON as scheduled. The JV game will begin at 6:00 PM. At halftime of the JV game, the Bucks and Bulls Future Redskins teams will scrimmage. In between the JV and Varsity contest, Senior Night introductions of Boys Basketball players and Basketball Cheerleaders will occur. Those individuals and their parents/guardians need to be at the high school no later than 6:30 PM this evening.
NHS will also be having their Pork Chop Dinner from 5:00-7:00 PM tonight in the SHS Commons for $10.00. Dine-in and carry-out options are available!

Senior athletes and their parents/guardians in girls basketball and swimming need to meet Mr. Aikman in the SHS lobby by no later than 6:30 PM. The recognition ceremonies will then begin immediately after the conclusion of the JV Girls Basketball contest. The JV contest will also consist of two 12 minute running clock halves so anticipated start time of the Varsity contest is 7:00 PM.
