Join Sullivan FCCLA for a FREE Breakfast with Santa event next Saturday, December 9th, from 8-10 AM in the SHS Commons! Pancake breakfast, along with cookie decorating, stocking decorating, and other arts and crafts! The Sullivan Royalty and the IL FCCLA Officer Team will be in attendance reading Christmas stories. The first 150 kids in attendance will receive a goody bag to take home with lots of goodies. Donations accepted for PAWS, Moultrie County's Animal Shelter. The Varsity Redskins basketball team opens their season with a 56-53 victory over Cisne at Neoga! They will play at 12:30 and 3:30 tomorrow!

SHS Winter Athletics kick off this week on the road!
A big congrats to SHS swimmer Emily Crosier, who finished 30th in the IHSA State 100 backstroke this weekend!
The SHS Student Council hosted the Illinois Association of Student Councils Drive-In. The drive-in was led by Aric Jackson a leadership speaker. 116 students from across Central Illinois were in attendance. The student council thanks Building 1225 for allowing us to use their facilities and to Sol Del Mar for having many student council members come and eat after the conference.
Mrs Kirby's Modern US History class has been studying the 1920s and as part of the unit the students got to go outside and play Hoover Ball. President Hoover was told he needed to exercise and so he came up with this game to play with his cabinet at the White House.
The SHS Student Council is happy to host the annual Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 10th.
SHS Winter Sports are just around the corner! Girls Basketball started practice last week and Boys Basketball starts today! Parents, please make sure to join us for the All-Sports Parent Meeting tonight at 6:00 pm.
