Come out and catch your first chance to see the Lady Redskins Volleyball team at 6:00 in the gym, and then at 6:45 head out to Victory Field for introductions of all MS and HS teams plus a Football scrimmage!

On the boys side, Brett Bushue led the way with a +2 score at the U of I course!

- This Friday's home golf meet has been rescheduled. Now: Boys will travel to Effingham Country Club on 9/6 @ 4:00
- Boys & Girls Lincoln Prairie Golf Meet has been rescheduled to 9/19 @ Moweaqua Golf Course
Schedule change: Due to lack of numbers, several HS VB teams will not play a Fresh game. All of these games will be JV/Varsity beginning at 6:00:

A great way to open the year for the SHS Golf team at Meridian today - Brett Bushue placed 1st in boys and the girls team won overall with Ruby Haegen and Shae Ellis leading the way in 2nd & 3rd overall!
The SOV Football athletes competed at our annual Liftathon on Friday July 28th! Athletes competed in Bench, Squat, and Power Clean. As a team we lifted 8515 more pounds than at last year's Liftathon, with our athletes' total weight lifted going up an average of 102 pounds per athlete and our pound for pound ratio increasing from 3.2 to 3.34 per athlete since last year! Mason Booker earned the Top Total Weight Lifted award with 925 pounds as well as the Largest Increase In Total Weight from last year with an increase of 190 pounds, while Aian Fryman earned the Top Pound for Pound Lifter with a ratio of 5.017 pounds lifted per body weight. Very proud of our guys and the work they have put in this off-season! Huge thank you to Second Chance Gym for hosting us!

The SOV Football athletes will be competing in our annual Lift-a-Thon competition on July 28th starting at 4:00pm at Second Chance Gym. They will be performing Bench, Squat, and Power Clean for a total weight lifted. The athletes will be competing against themselves and the other Tribes within our team. This event is open to the public, so please come out to see the hard work our athletes have put in this offseason! ⚾️ Incoming 3rd and 4th graders were back at it at baseball camp. Shout out to high school helpers, Kolton Wiley and Tristan Wright.
SOV Football boys won the Robinson 7-on-7 Tournament Championship today, and our linemen finished in 6th out of 20 teams in the Linemen Challenge! Very proud of our guys!
Middle school finished their week-long baseball camp and are gearing up for the upcoming season. Huge shoutout to Sullivan Dental Clinic for sponsoring our camp shirts for grades 3-8.
HS Sports practices begin this Monday!
