Mrs. Badman and Mrs. Kirby's dual credit students visited the Lake Land College library today. While there, they were taught how to use the college's database system and how to locate books using the same system as the Library of Congress. They now have the resources they need to complete their term research papers and are already looking forward to returning next semester! 📚

Both of our golfers made the Final Cut at the IHSA State Golf Tournament and head into the final round today! Good luck Brett and Shae!!!


SOV moves to 7-0 with an incredible win on Homecoming over Nokomis, 30-22!!!!


The Junior Class of 2025 won the Spirit Day games at today's Homecoming games hosted by the student council and senior Trey Grimm won Mr. Redskin. Come out tomorrow at 4pm to see the Homecoming parade and at 7pm to cheer on the 6-0 SOV REDSKINS!!

Location Change: Tomorrow night's (Thursday) Freshman Football game vs Tuscola will now be held AT Okaw Valley HS. Start time is still 6:00 pm. Come out and root on the Redskins!

Our Senior Cross Country runners got to celebrate on a beautiful day at Tabor Park today! Congratulations on a terrific career runners!








Coach Taylor and the SHS FCCLA Chapter officers attended the Ignite Leadership Conference this past Sunday and Monday in Springfield. Members attended breakout sessions led by FCCLA alumni and advisers, listened to inspiring keynote speakers, planned chapter service projects and FCCLA week activities, and participated in team building activities! We look forward to bringing our ideas and experiences back to the Sullivan community and to SHS!


SHS Boys and Girls golfers competed at IHSA Sectionals today - The girls team unfortunately came up short of moving on in an a loaded competition! Congratulations to Brett Bushue and Shaelyn Ellis who are moving onto the IHSA State Meet this Friday as individuals!



According to the Keep America Beautiful National Litter Study, “There are nearly 50 billion pieces of litter along U.S. roadways and waterways.”
Several NHS members picked up trash around school grounds and Wyman park to help make our community a little cleaner. Thank you, Olivia Cordes, Linnéa Graham, Kiley Dyer, and Brooklyn Booker!

A huge day for SHS Girls Golf! They bring home their 2nd Regional Championship in school history today, and first since 1986! The girls had 4 of the top 5 scores for the day!




The HS VB LPC Tournament is set for next week!
SHS plays at Unity Christian HS at 6 & 7 on Monday, with the remainder of the week played at Argenta-Oreana HS based on the results of pool play!
