Our latest collegiate athlete, congratulations to Ruby Haegen who signed her letter of intent to play golf this fall at Millikin University!

A huge shoutout goes to SHS Junior Gage Simmons, who competed at Powerlifting America's High School Nationals in New Orleans, LA over this past weekend!
He placed 2nd in his 93kg weight class, narrowly missing 1st place by 2.5 kg
Gage finished Nationals with a total of 565kg (1246lbs) with a 185kg (408lbs) squat, a 125kg (276lbs) bench, and a 255kg (562lbs) deadlift.
These lifts qualify Gage to possibly be selected for the National USA team

NEHS members were thrilled to meet their semester-long pen pals in Mrs. McCain, Mrs. Wilson, and Mrs. Kirk's classes! After a semester of writing weekly letters back and forth, these pen pals got to meet each other and enjoy cookies and juice while visiting, coloring, and working on friendship word searches. One of our favorite days of the year!
