The two Sullivan Bass Fishing teams represented our school well today at the IHSA sectional meet placing 4th and 5th out of 26 teams, narrowly missing a run at the state title as only the top 3 advance.

SCHEDULE UPDATE TO SHS SOFTBALL TODAY 5/6 AT NEOGA: The SHS Softball game scheduled for today 5/6 at Neoga has been cancelled due to the weather.

Correction to the post on the softball game at Neoga today; at this time the game is still on as scheduled but will start later than the 4:00 PM originally scheduled time

At this time, the SHS Softball game at Neoga is on but will more than likely start later than 4:30 PM. More updates will be provided when they are received

The SHS Baseball games scheduled for today 5/6 at Lane Field against Tuscola is ON as scheduled starting at 4:30 PM

The Sarah Bush Lincoln Clinic in Sullivan will be offering sports physicals for $20.00 on Wednesday June 23rd from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Each $20.00 fee will be donated to the Sullivan Sports Boosters. Cash or check will be the only forms of payment accepted and checks can be made out to Sarah Bush Lincoln. Appointments are required and can be made by contacting SBL Sullivan Clinic at 217-728-8441.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: The SHS Varsity and JV Baseball game at Warrensburg-Latham originally scheduled for yesterday 5/4 has been rescheduled to Monday 5/24 at 4:30 PM at Warrensburg-Latham. JV innings will follow the varsity contest. The SHS Varsity Softball game at Warrensburg-Latham originally scheduled for yesterday 5/4 has been rescheduled to Thursday 5/20 at 6:00 PM in Sullivan as part of a doubleheader.

The SHS Boys and Girls Track meet scheduled for today 5/4 at Clinton High School is on as scheduled starting at 4:30 PM.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: The SHS Baseball and Softball games scheduled for today 5/4 at Warrensburg-Latham have been postponed due to the weather. Makeup date for both games is TBD.

Huge congrats to Grant Martin and Anderson Crouse for their participation in the IESA Solo and Ensemble contest this past April. Grant is a 6th grade trombone player and played an arrangement of Stars and Stripes Forever by John Philip Sousa. He scored a Division 1 rating of “excellent” on his performance here: https://youtu.be/XCkCFom-rKs Anderson is an 8th grade clarinet and bass player and he played an arrangement of Daahoud by Clifford Brown.
