Sullivan High School

This morning the Spanish Club met for the first time this year. We had breakfast, welcomed our new members, and worked on our first service project. Pictured below are all of the new members as well as members working on the project.

Students in The Latin American Class learned about Adriano, Trajano & Teodosio the three Roman emperors born in Spain.

To anyone planning to attend the HS Football game at Nokomis tomorrow: Nokomis HS will be recognizing veterans and first responders before the game and has invited Sullivan to participate as well. Anyone who would like to participate, meet in the east end zone at 6:30!

FYI - upcoming HS sports schedule changes: - 9/15 VB @ Clinton will be only JV and Varsity, no Fresh game - 9/20 B/G Golf CIC meet will be played at Mowequa Golf Course - 10/13 Cross Country CIC meet will start at 5:00

Students in Coach Taylor’s PE classes enjoyed participating in a sports related Scavenger Hunt during the first week of school!

A huge thank you to Sergeant Kalagian and his National Guard team for coming into the SHS PE classes yesterday! Students had a great time playing archery tag!

What a beautiful morning for the 2023 Senior Sunrise! Seniors arrived at school just in time to watch the sunrise together as they begin their senior year. 🌅

This Friday, come catch the first look at our Fall sports teams! The Football team scrimmages at 5:00, followed by team introductions, then a Volleyball scrimmage to follow in the gym!

Location change: The HS boys and girls golf match on 8/30 will now be hosted by St Teresa at Hickory Point Golf Course in Forsyth
