Sullivan High School

It was a great morning of basketball at the 7th Grade Regional Tournament in Sullivan. The Sullivan 7th Grade Basketball team was victorious and advances in the tournament! The boys will take on the Pana Panthers at approximately 7:15 PM in the SMS Gym on Tuesday night (1/20). Updated tournament schedule is attached.

**Please note the rest of the tournament will take place in the SMS Gym.**

Sending a huge shoutout to Jazzercise instructors, Jena Atchison and Jessica Risley, for coming into Coach Taylor's SHS REC PE classes this week to lead a fun, engaging Jazzercise demo! We are so grateful and appreciative of our local leaders and local resources that help promote the creation of healthy lifetime habits for all ages! Thank you for bringing your positive energy and positive spirits into the building to help teach our students about the importance of movement and getting involved in community activities!

As a result of showing good character in the classroom, Rhiann Swisher was chosen to lead the Sullivan Lady Redskins onto the court tonight!

Congratulations to Marshall Robison, who signed his letter of intent to continue his football career at Greenville University next fall!

The Lincoln Prairie Conference Girls Basketball Tournament will be hosted by Sullivan High School next week and our Lady Redskins earned the #1 seed in the tournament! Come out to SHS to see some great basketball next week!

Marshall Robison will be signing his letter of intent to continue his football career at Greenville University on Thursday 1/15 at 3:00 pm in the HS Gym!

Fresh/Soph Boys Basketball will plan a Round Robin at Central A&M on 1/31. The schedule is:

9:00 CAM vs. Sullivan
10:15 CAM vs Unity
11:30 Sullivan vs. Unity

Schedule Change: Cerro Gordo GB has had some injuries this past week and are unable to play a JV game. so Monday's Girls Basketball game @ Bement will be Varsity Only at 6:00 pm

SHS athletics going on this week!

Attention SHS Seniors! Lake Land College will select one lucky Sullivan Senior to win a tuition waiver at the January 20 boys basketball game against Arcola AND the January 29 girls basketball game against Tri-County.

All seniors who attend the basketball game will receive a raffle ticket. At half time, Lake Land will select a winner from Sullivan. You must be present to win.

Join us for dinner on Tuesday, January 20!!! The Sullivan Show Choir program is sponsoring a Spaghetti Dinner from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., in the Commons, that includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and a drink for $10 per meal. You are able to dine-in or carry out your meal(s). We invite you to be out guest that evening and let us provide you with a delicious meal!
