Reminder that tomorrow, May 30th, is the last day of student attendance and will be an early dismissal. The elementary school will dismiss at 1:20 and the high school at 1:30. Thank you for a great year!

Sullivan Elementary will be posting a series of YouTube videos of staff members reading books to encourage families to read together throughout the summer. They will be posted every Sunday evening on our district Facebook page, starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 2nd. There will be a video the following Wednesday, June 5th, then every Sunday following. We hope you will join us!

Sullivan Elementary honored Mrs. Sanner this morning, which will be her last day as secretary at the school. Over her 32 years at the school, she has made a tremendous impact on a great number of lives and her impact will continue to be felt for years! SES loves Mrs. Sanner!

Mrs.Hendry’s 4th graders built Lunar Modules out of recycled materials. In anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the US moon walk they tested the durability from different heights. 7.5 ft was the highest.

Reminder that if you need help from the PTO and Sullivan Ministerial Association getting these supplies, the appropriate forms are due back to the elementary school no later than Friday, June 14th.

Sullivan Elementary awards "Gold Slips" to students who go above and beyond expectations. Following are the Gold Slip winners from the month of April (from left to right):Piper Conlin is always being kind to others and helping other people. She is the first to volunteer and not afraid to give up her time to help a peer. Nick Rubush politely jumped in to help clean a big mess in the lunchroom. Good job! What a great act of kindness. Ty Szabo helped another kid at recess. He was so kind and helpful. Ethan Smith has amazing manners. He's always ready to help others. Alex Fultz consistently follows and exceeds classroom expectations by exhibiting respect, listening attentively, and offering enthusiastic input to class discussions.
