First grade celebrated their 101 first day of school by dressing like the 101 Dalmatians and doing all sorts of fun activities counting to 101 !

This is a reminder for parents with 3rd/4th grade students in SES Children's Choir...There is NO Children's Choir this evening (Monday, January 23rd).
SES Parents...With the possibility of some Winter precipitation this week, I wanted to remind parents of items students must have at school to get to play in the snow at recess. Students are allowed to play in the snow at recess if they have snow pants, winter coat, snow boots and gloves. Please call the SES office if you have any questions.
After learning all about the moon, Mrs. Becker’s class blew bubble paint to make the craters in the Moon !
Just a reminder that if you haven't turned your forms in for Kids Night Out next Friday, please do so by next Tuesday. We need a final head count for pizza orders. Hope to see everyone there.

The Sullivan Lady Redskins basketball team is hosting a Kids Night Out on January 27th at Building 1225 for kids kindergarten thru 5th grade. Forms can be picked up in the SES or SMS office. They are due by Friday, January 20th. Parents deserve a night out too!

Mrs. Becker’s class loved kicking off our space unit with space puzzles. These puzzles were so kindly donated by members of the community and the students have loved working together to do them !

Nora Becker, Charlotte Martin and Kellan Mossman were chosen as flag runners for the HS Varsity Boys and Girls games on Saturday, January 7th and Monday, January 9th. Students in 3rd and 4th grade are nominated by staff for consistently following expectations. Keep it up!
Our class is going to end our last day of school with assorted popcorn and hot cocoa!
SES Students and Staff had the special opportunity to sign their name onto beams which will be placed in the new addition. The SES Team added the names of all students and staff who were absent today, so everyone was represented. What a FUN way to put our mark on a building which will be around for a long time!!

Reminder that Sullivan Schools will get out early on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. SES will dismiss at 2:20 and SMS/SHS will dismiss at 2:30. Christmas Break runs from December 22nd - January 3rd. Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
Olivia Swinford and Mia Martin were nominated as flag runners at the SHS Girls’ Varsity game for consistently following expectations and showing respect within the school environment. Way to go Ladies!!
