Mrs. Grohler’s students have many talents, from baristas serving coffee in the morning to artists in the afternoon. One of our young artists, Noah Smith, had one of his masterpieces put on t-shirts. Mrs. Grohler’s classroom, along with many other SES staff, recently wore their new Noah-designed shirts to school. It was a fine day!











In 3rd grade, Miss Basham and Mrs. McCain's class enjoyed making dream catchers after reading a story about them last week.


Mrs. Becker's class has been learning all about apples. We had a great time learning even more at the Okaw Valley Orchard!


Mrs. Becker's class loved using apple from the orchard to make their own applesauce!


Mrs. Fultz's first grade class had a great time visiting the Okaw Valley Apple Orchard today. They learned about apples for several weeks and enjoyed getting to show off what their knowledge. This trip was made possible by the amazing SES PTO!

To honor those who sacrificed their lives on 9/11/2001, today 5th Graders in Mr. Wagner's PE classes walked a combined 110 flights of stairs and 2,071 steps. #NeverForget

SES has started a NEW school-wide motto and program called Sullivan Strong. Each month students and staff will work on a Mind Goal, Body Goal and Heart Goal. The month of August students were encouraged to Establish a Morning Routine, Eat Breakfast and Be Patient. SULLIVAN STRONG MOTTO: A Strong MIND, Strong BODY, Strong HEART is What I Need to Succeed

First grade went on their ABC walk today. Students were excited to eye spy things that start with the different letters of the alphabet. We finished our walking by checking out the new scoreboard!
