Due to the weather, all regularly scheduled practices, meetings, and games for this afternoon and evening 12/16 have been cancelled. This includes the CIC Scholastic Bowl Meet at Shelbyville as well as the SHS JV and Varsity Girls Basketball games. The makeup date for the CIC Scholastic Bowl Meet is TBD. The makeup date for the SHS JV and Varsity Girls Basketball games is Monday 1/13/20 at 6:00 PM in the SHS gym.

Students in 3rd and 4th grade competed in a "Deck the Halls" paper chain STEM challenge during library class this week. Teams of three had two pieces of paper, 1 glue stick, and a pair of scissors. The winning chain from Mr. Campbell's class was 12 ft long!
Tonight is the K-2 Christmas Program is tonight at 7:00PM in the high school gym. Students need to be brought to the high school commons between 6:30 and 6:40. We are looking forward to a great event!
As a result of showing respect, Madeline Anderson and Rhesa Isaacs led the Lady Redskins on to the court while the 5th and 6th grade girls team made a tunnel. Great job girls!

The K-2 Christmas Program is quickly approaching! Students will be performing in the Sullivan High School gymnasium on Thursday, December 12th at 7PM. Students are to arrive at the SHS Commons between 6:30 and 6:40 to meet their teachers.

SES Family Reading Night has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 19th from 6-7PM at SES. Come "Roar into Reading" with us!
All practices scheduled for this afternoon are on as regularly scheduled unless they are cancelled by their respective coach. Both the SMS Boys Basketball games at Warrensburg-Latham and the SMS Girls Basketball games at Maroa-Forsyth are on as scheduled. Bus departure for the SMS Boys is 4:05 PM and Bus departure for the SMS Girls is 4:00 PM. The SHS Volleyball and Cross Country Banquet is still on as scheduled this evening at 6:30 PM at the VFW Hall in Sullivan. SES Family Reading Night scheduled for this evening has been postponed.
Due to inclement weather, all after-school activities will be cancelled today. This includes all games and practices as well as Homework Hangout, the ASK program, Children's Choir, and Girls on the Run. Please drive safely!

Just a reminder that Sullivan Elementary School’s Veterans Day program will begin at 8:30AM on Monday morning, November 11th. Guests are asked to arrive no earlier than 8:00AM.
We will have utility vehicles (courtesy of Sloan Implement) available to shuttle people to the elementary school from the armory, American Legion, and other nearby locations when the school parking lots have filled up. Mrs. Leach, along with all of the students and staff, have a wonderful show to share with everyone-you won’t want to miss it!
Also,if you have canned goods or would like to donate money to our Day of Giving drive, please bring those with you. The food and money collected will go to local food pantries. There will be a station set up for collection.
