Due to limited seating per IDPH guidelines, only spectators that have passes which have already been distributed will be allowed entrance into the SHS girls basketball games this evening. Anyone that doesn’t have a pass may watch the game via livestream on the school districts YouTube channel which is SullivanSchool300
The SHS JV girls game will begin at 6:00 PM this evening followed by the varsity girls contest at 7:30 PM against Villa Grove.
SHS Girls Basketball will open their season tomorrow 2/1 hosting Villa Grove at 6:00 PM in the SHS Gym. Due to the limitations on spectators, individuals are encouraged to live stream the game from home by subscribing to our YouTube channel which is SullivanSchool300.

Sullivan Community....On Thursday, December 10th at 7:00 p.m. you will be entertained by students in grades Kindergarten to 2nd Grade. The students will be presenting (virtually) the 12 days of Christmas. A link will be shared Thursday with a countdown to the performance time of 7:00 p.m. If you are unable to view the performance Thursday evening, you can find the program on the school YouTube and Facebook pages.

On Veterans Day 2020 the staff and students of SHS would like to honor and thank all veterans, current service members, and their families for their service and sacrifice for our nation. The Sullivan High School Career English class with the assistance of Natalee Hunter, Nicole Lofland, Kaylee Ogle, Hannah Righter, and Marissa Fleshner produced this video for Veterans Day 2020. We hope that you take time to watch it. Derek Elder, an SHS alum currently serving in the US Army, is our guest speaker. You may see yourself , friends, or relatives in the video's photo section or names you know in our veteran and service member lists. Please also come to the Road of Valor that connects the American Legion to the schools to the armory. There is also a display of stars with service member names on the front doors of the high school. Thank you to everyone who helped us honor our veterans and active military this year.

Veterans, current members of the military, their families and friends, and community members are encouraged to drive along the "Road of Valor" in front of Sullivan High School and Sullivan Middle School on Veterans Day. The road will be lined with 1300 American flags representing all 1, 151 students in the district and all full-time district employees. The Career English class has arranged this event in place of the yearly Veterans Day assembly which has been canceled because of COVID-19.
Parents and students...This is a reminder that Sullivan Schools WILL BE IN SESSION on Friday, October 30th, but WILL NOT BE IN SESSION on Monday, November 2nd and Tuesday, November 3rd.
The SHS Cross Country Banquet will be held on Wednesday November 4th at 6:30 PM at the VFW Hall in Sullivan for team members and coaches to attend in person only due to IDPH limitations on gatherings. Barring unforeseen technological circumstances, the awards banquet will be live streamed on the Sullivan School District’s YouTube channel located at youtube.com/sullivanschool300 beginning at 7:00 PM that night for those interested in watching the awards presentation virtually as it occurs.
