Mrs. Emel, Ms. Hoijer, and Mrs. Wade attended a two-day GeoGebra workshop at Parkland College to learn more about interactive tech tools that bring math alive in the middle school and high school classrooms! #onetribe
Ms. Heddins and Mrs. Garrett are at the Illinois Math and Science Academy in Aurora learning a new curriculum to bring to their STEM classes at the Middle School. Thanks to the Sullivan Community Education Foundation, this STEM education is funded through a grant! Fusion kits from IMSA come with all the needed materials for the curriculum and a lot of fun! Within the first hour they’ve already figured out what materials would work best for certain parts in an underwater robot! Who says summer isn’t for learning? #STEM #onetribe
