SMS Athletics Update:
Due to the forecasted high temperatures this week there will be adjustments to schedules.
Tonight's (8/26) JH Softball @ Argenta-Oreana and JH Baseball vs Argenta-Oreana will both be delayed to a 6:30 start time in hopes to get to a safe temperature zone and be able to play. Departure time for softball is now 4:30 PM.
Tomorrow night's (8/27) JH XC Meet @ Tabor Park has been canceled. Team will practice in the morning from 6:30 - 7:45 AM

Location Change (8/22): SMS Baseball game @ Okaw Valley will be played at Okaw Valley HS in Bethany (709 S. St. John St.) starting at 4:30 PM. Departure time is 3:15 PM.

SMS Baseball began their season last night at home with a victory over Unity Christian! They are back in action this evening with a conference game @ Tri-County starting at 4:30. SMS Baseball will practice outside this afternoon for 1 hour from 3:30-4:30.
SMS Softball will practice outside from 7:00-8:30 this evening.
Reminder: SMS Fall Sports parent meeting for Baseball, Softball, and Cross County will take place tomorrow evening (Wednesday, 8/7) starting at approximately 5:00 PM in the SES Gym.

SMS XC & Baseball Reminders:
-SMS Cross Country will have their first official practice on Monday, August 5th from 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM. Meet at the Track.
-SMS Baseball will have tryouts on Monday, August 5th from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM. Meet at Lane Field @ Wyman Park.

SMS Softball Tryouts: Due to potential poor field conditions from storms and forecasted potential excessive heat, tryouts will be held indoors.
Tonight's session (Monday, 7/29) will be held in the HS Gym from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Tomorrow's session (Tuesday, 7/30) will be held in the Armory from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM.
