SHS Freshman Boys Basketball hosts Mt. Zion High School at 6:00 PM in the SES gym. Each player may have either 1 spectator or no more than 2 spectators if from the same household. Last night, Sullivan High School’s FCCLA chapter completed their Section competition. Our students completed wonderful projects and received the following awards:
Focus on Children: Natalie Voyles and Morgan Moll received a Gold rating
Frosted Cake Decorating: Kaylee Ogle received a Silver rating
Decorated Cookie: Kaley Ramsey received a Silver rating
All 4 students will move on to the State competition in April. Great work, girls!

If attending, you must present your Sullivan High School JV and/or Varsity Boys Basketball ticket that you present to us when attending home games. The SHS Freshman Boys Basketball game against Clinton on Monday 3/1 will be played at 5:00 PM. In addition, the SHS JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games against Cerro-Gordo will now be played in Sullivan on 3/1. The JV contest will start at 6:15 PM and the Varsity contest will begin at 7:30 PM.

Parents/guardians participating in the Senior Night ceremony should arrive in the front parking lot across from the high school by no later than 7:00 PM. The SHS Scholastic Bowl matches postponed on Monday 2/15 have been rescheduled for Thursday 2/18 at Meridian High School at 5:30 PM. The SHS JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games scheduled tonight against St. Teresa have been rescheduled to Tuesday 3/9 starting at 6:00 PM.
SHS Senior Night for Girls Basketball members is next Monday February 22nd. Parents/guardians participating in the Senior Night ceremony should arrive in the front parking lot across from the high school by no later than 6:30 PM. The SHS Freshman Boys Basketball game scheduled for tonight against Central A&M has been postponed. Make up date TBD. The SHS Scholastic Bowl contest at Meridian scheduled for tonight has also been postponed. Make up date TBD.
The following are some updates concerning tonight's SHS JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games at Central A&M High School in Moweaqua starting at 6:00 PM:
1. Visiting spectators for the JV game are asked to park in the parking lot of Pine Street between the football field and the school. Entry will then be through the south door facing the parking lot and admission will begin at 5:45 PM. A reminder that each JV rostered player is allowed 1 spectator provided they have one of our JV Boys Basketball tickets to present to the Central A&M staff that we gave out at the beginning of the season.
2. Visiting spectators for the Varsity contest are asked to park in front of the school along Pine street. Entry will then be through the front doors of the school (facing Pine street). Doors will open once the gym has been cleared and sanitized after the JV game. A reminder that each Varsity rostered player is allowed 1 spectator provided they have one of our Varsity boys basketball spectator tickets to present to the Central A&M staff that we gave out at the beginning of the season.

No visiting fans will be allowed but the game can be livestreamed on the NFHS network by looking up Stewardson-Strasburg High School in Illinois as well as through their Facebook page at Stew-Stras Schools.
