Schedule Change: the HS Baseball game today (Friday) at home vs Altamont has been cancelled. Practice will be in the MS gym at 2:30

Schedule Change: the HS Softball game today at MacArthur is cancelled, reschedule TBA. Practice will be held from 4-6

Schedule Change: the HS Baseball team have added a game tomorrow, Wednesday 3/15 at South Central. The game is played at Kinmundy at 4:30. Bus time will be 2:15

The baseball program is proud to bring you Sr. T.R.I.B.E. Month— each month, our four seniors will select a teacher who has inspired them in some way. We are looking forward to sharing March’s Sr. T.R.I.B.E. Month teachers next week. Bundle up and come support our boys today at 4:30 at Lane Field for the first game of the season!


Congratulations to Izzy Hay and Alaina Moore on winning the 2023 Bird Cage Classic Girl's Basketball All-Star Game. Great job representing the Lady Redskins today!

Spring Break is upon us, but sports are still going on at SHS!


A huge shoutout to Chloe Smith, who signed her national letter of intent to play softball and basketball at Eureka College next year!

Things going on at SHS this week!


The Sullivan Singers do it again!! Grand Champions, best choreo and best vocals in the Chicagoland Showcase Festival Division!! And, Triniti Preyer got best solo performance in a show!




On Thursday, March 30 the Sullivan High School Student Council is hosting a SHS Student Council executive board alumni muffin social. If you were an executive board member of the SHS student council please consider coming and sharing time with our current council. This will take place at 7:30am in Mrs. Kirby's classroom. In order to gage support of this, please email Mrs. Kirby at kirbym@sullivan.k12.il.us if you plan to attend.


Sullivan Spring Sports pocket schedules are available for pickup at all the banks in town plus FS and Casey's gas stations! Pick one up and come out and support the teams!


A group of SOV Football athletes competed in the Taylorville Lift-a-Thon Powerlifting Meet over the weekend. SOV finished in 2nd place behind the host school Taylorville. Other competing teams included Lincoln, Pleasant Plains, and Nokomis. The athletes competed in Bench, Squat, and Power Clean, and the total weight lifted was calculated to determine medalists. A ton of personal records were beaten on Saturday and these athletes earned individual medals:
Mason Booker: 1st in Weight Class, 3rd Overall
Aian Fryman: 1st in Weight Class, 4th Overall
Anderson Crouse: 2nd in Weight Class
Kaden Dalponte: 2nd in Weight Class
Wyatt Poyner: 3rd in Weight Class
Landry Still: 3rd in Weight Class
Garet Martz: 3rd in Weight Class
Lucas Floyd: 3rd in Weight Class











HS Spring sports officially are underway today! Baseball, Softball, & Track practices begin this afternoon. Parents, make sure to attend the all-sports parent meeting tonight in the HS gym at 6:00. Game schedules w/ bus times will be passed out then

FCCLA is the chosen charity for the month of March for the Legion Quarter Auction! Come out for a fun evening!


SSOV Swim Team will be going to State tomorrow! Ethan Schmohe, Liam Donovan, Isaac Chambers, Matthew Wesselman, and Johnathan Iacobazzi!
They will be competing in the 200 Medley Relay and Ethan will also compete in the 100 backstroke and 50 freestyle! Good luck boys!
