The Sullivan High School Student Council attended the EIDASC annual convention. Students participated in discussion groups and heard from keynote speaker State Representative Adam Neimerg. Junior Daniel Downs finished his term as District State Liaison.
Sophomore Katilyn Kirby was elected as the 2022-2023 Eastern Illinois District Association of Student Councils President at the 88th EIDASC convention. Katilyn will run monthly meetings and represent the district at the IASC convention in May.
Please note that the game Fresh/Soph game for Military Appreciation Night has been cancelled. Please still join us for the JV game starting at 6pm and Varsity starting at 7:30pm.

According to Litter in America, “On average, there are 152 pieces of litter for each U.S. resident.” On Friday, these students cleaned teachers’ classrooms at the high school. Shout out to Davis Diepholz for stepping up and helping out our NHS group!
FCCLA will be having a pancake Breakfast with Santa this year! Breakfast will be served on December 10 from 8-10 AM in the high school Commons. Christmas pajamas are encouraged! Tickets will be going on sale this week, see a FCCLA member to purchase!

The National History Scholar Society recently visited the Moultrie County Historical Society to begin work on their research of Sullivan High School. They also took a tour of the new museum and are very excited to see this grow over the next several months.
The Sullivan High School Student Council would like to invite all veterans to a brunch before our annual assembly tomorrow. The brunch will take place immediately following the elementary assembly, around 9:30, in the high school commons. The Sullivan High School and Middle School assembly will then begin at 10:30 in the high school gymnasium. All community members are welcome to attend.

Tonight (11/7) at 6:00 is the SHS Winter Sports Parent Meeting in the SHS Gym. Parents of athletes from Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Basketball Cheer, & Boys Swim please plan on attending!
