A huge day for SHS Girls Golf! They bring home their 2nd Regional Championship in school history today, and first since 1986! The girls had 4 of the top 5 scores for the day!
The HS VB LPC Tournament is set for next week!
SHS plays at Unity Christian HS at 6 & 7 on Monday, with the remainder of the week played at Argenta-Oreana HS based on the results of pool play!

The 2023 Homecoming Court has been announced. Freshman Julia Moody and Avram Bates, Sophomores Mikaela Guest and Josh Cremeens, Juniors Katilyn Kirby and Rhett Lehman. Senior Queen Candidates are Paige Conners, Ruby Haegen, Triniti Preyer, and Tessa Seeley. Senior King Candidates are Kyle Corkill, Davis Diepholz, Hayden Moody, and Raymond Yang. Coronation will take place at halftime of the football game on October 6th.
The Sullivan High School Student Council is excited to announce plans for the 2023 Homecoming "Hollywood"! Festivities will begin Monday, October 2nd with dress up days and float building and will continue with classes vying for the spirit stick on Thursday, October 5th. On Friday, October 6th the parade will step off at 4pm and the game will begin at 7pm. At halftime, the homecoming court will be announced with the crowing of the 2023 King and Queen. On Saturday, October 7th the high school students will enjoy their homecoming dance in the high school gym from 7-10.

Brett Bushue and Daniel Downs took 2nd place today in the Mt. Zion Ryder Cup Invitational shooting 70 in the scramble!
Mr. Fultz's Applied Science and STEM classes learned from David Shain and Coles Moultrie Electric Coop to learn about careers in electricity and its use in everyday life.
The high school student council is offering a Homecoming themed t-shirt this year! Anyone is welcome to purchase a t-shirt adult size xs-2x for $15 and 3x-5x for $18. Several members of Sullivan FCCLA attended the Section 7 Leadership Conference in Charleston this morning. Students participated in team building workshops led by the IL state officers, made cards for children at St. Jude, heard from a FCCLA alumni and current FCS major on how to make an impact in their world, and learned about the competitive events that this fantastic organization offers.
