Schedule Change: Due to upcoming inclement weather, HS Baseball & Softball will be starting their games at 4:00 pm today, both at home
According to Roadrunner Waste and Recycling, "On average, there are 152 pieces of litter for every U.S. resident."
Addison Stollard, Emily Crosier, and Linnéa Graham beat the weather and picked up trash around school grounds as part of our monthly service to the school and community.
Due to continued lightning in the area, the Tri-County Track Invitational will not continue tonight. It will not be rescheduled
HS Tri-County Track Invitational is under a weather delay. We will update teams and fans when they can take the field again
Schedule Change: HS Softball is going to play earlier than expected at Clinton in order to avoid the potential weather. Game time will be approximately 4:15, bus time will be 2:20 pm.
SHS Track Banquets
- The SHS Girls Track Banquet will be May 20th, 6:00 pm @ the VFW
- The SHS Boys Track Banquet will be May 22nd, 5:00 pm @ Wyman Park (cookout)

On Thursday, 5/9, SHS will hold our Decision Day ceremony where Sullivan High School seniors will be showcased. The ceremony will begin at 9:05am in the high school gym.
We will learn all about our 2024 seniors such as what their plans are after high school, any scholarships they received, any clubs/sports they were involved in, a memory from high school, etc. Departmental awards will be announced, and extra-curricular cords and pins will be given at this time.
Parents and community members are welcome to attend; the ceremony will also be live-streamed on our YouTube channel. This is a chance for everyone to see all the wonderful opportunities Sullivan High School has to offer!

Sullivan FCCLA, along with 78 other chapters from the state, attended and competed in the 2024 Illinois FCCLA State Conference in Springfield this weekend. Kya Allen received a gold medal for her performance in the Proficiency event of Salad Display, while Sarina Voegel received a silver medal in Chapter Service Portfolio. There were 635 competitors in 45 different events ranging from projects of creating your own Food Truck to conducting a business meeting as a Parliamentary Procedure team. Sarina closed out her term as a 2023-24 Illinois State Officer by being recognized on stage with Dr. Walk, Mr.Allen, Nick and Ginger Voegel, and Advisor Kali Taylor. Sullivan was well represented this weekend as we look to a future of building skills for life within these young leaders of our community!

- The game @ Unity on 4/24 has been cancelled. It will not be made up

SHS Boys track got a win tonight at the Cerro Gordo 6 Team Meet! Big highlight was Mason Booker breaking our school record in the 110 Hurdles with a time of 16.50!

Spring Sports Senior Recognitions:
BOYS & GIRLS TRACK Senior Night is Tuesday, April 16th at the conclusion of the 1600m run during the Tri-County Track Invitational. Senior athletes and their parents/guardians need to meet Coach Bertetto, Coach Taylor & Mr. Huber on the north end of the bleachers next to the track entrance no later than the conclusion of the 300m hurdles event.
BASEBALL Senior Day is Saturday, May 4th at approximately 9:50 am prior to the Varsity game against Stew-Stras-Windsor. Senior athletes and their parents/guardians need to meet Coach Badman & Mr. Huber at the SHS dugout no later than 9:45 am.
