Congratulations to our Six SHS Girls Track members that advanced to the IHSA Class 1A finals next Thursday in Charleston! Riane Bear won the High Jump and set a new school record of 5'5.5"! Devon Richardson hit qualifying standards in both long jump and triple jump, while the 4 x 100 relay of Mya Dyer, Avery Renfro, Grace Crothers, and Kelsie Hodge finished in 2nd place to also qualify!
Ms. Tungate’s Intro to Ag class teamed up with the 2nd grade for a fun and educational day all about dairy! Students learned together and beat the heat by making and enjoying homemade ice cream. It was a great opportunity for hands-on learning and building connections across grade levels!

Miller Photography will be taking individual senior portraits prior to graduation Sunday, May 18th in the high school commons after about 12:30ish. We encourage all seniors to come get their picture taken as the yearbook staff can use these in the book; you have the option to purchase these at this time. SHS Boys are back-to-back Lincoln Prairie Conference Champs! Johnny Iacobazzi wins the 3200m and 1600m, and Mason Booker wins the 110m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles to earn 1st Team All-Conference individually! The 4x800m team of James Feldkamp, Kaden Dalponte, Rhett Lehman, and Johnny Iacobazzi also earn a win and 1st Team All-Conference recognition! Mason Booker set a new conference record in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.44, and a new conference and SHS record in the 300m Hurdles with a time of 40.04! Super proud of all of our guys tonight!
Our girls 4x4 team are LPC champs! A huge leg by Avery to close the race!
