Ms. Taylor's SHS Health classes analyzed healthy vs. unhealthy options at fast food restaurants as part of their Nutrition unit this week. Students are learning to be informed and educated consumers, fostering the creation of healthy lifestyles and promoting overall wellness.

We are just one month away from kicking off the competition season for the Marching Redskins! Mark your calendars and come out and support the band at the following events: October 4th at the Effingham Marching Hearts Invitational in Effingham, IL; October 11th at the Mt. Zion Marching Music Games in Mt. Zion, IL; and October 25th at the Oblong Spooktacular in Oblong, IL.

Sullivan hosted its first Varsity Volleyball tournament today, and those in attendance got to watch some incredible games, almost every one of which went 3-sets!
Congratulations to Aeralyn Thrasher, who made the All-Tournament team!
Sullivan finished in 4th place, falling short in 3-set matches to the eventual champion Warrensburg-Latham and Maroa-Forsyth and came out on top against CHBC

An incredible way to open up the new SHS gym, with all our volleyball teams coming up victorious over Altamont tonight!
We are incredibly excited to open up our new SHS Gym tonight for the Volleyball game against Altamont! We want to remind our community of a few things that may be different than what has been accustomed to in the past. We thank you all for your cooperation in keeping our gym in beautiful condition!
- No outside food or drinks can come in the gymnasium (Yetis, Stanleys, etc.) - anything purchased from the concessions stand by supporting the clubs and Athletic Boosters can be brought into the gym
- Stay off the court after the game - there is plenty of room outside the gym and on the 2nd floor to congregate

The high school cross country team kicked off the season with a great performance at the Light It Up Invite in Clinton. The boys placed 13th out of 30 placing teams and the girls finished 14th out of 25.
The boys were led by Johnathon Iacobazzi placing 3rd in 14:58 and the girls were led by Julia Moody placing 12th with a time of 18:44.
