If you haven’t ordered your 2019-20 SHS Retrospect yearbook, they are still available at Jostens.com. Jostens is still offering their Payment Plan for purchasing yearbooks where the $50 book cost is broken down into 3 monthly payments. Congratulations to Carley Towle for being elected to the Illinois Association of Student Councils executive board for the office of Secretary. Carley will serve over the next year on the state board and will be in charge of grading all honor books across the state, travel to other district conventions, and attend and take minutes at all state board meetings.
The 2018-19 SHS yearbooks will be distributed to those who have already purchased one on Friday, May 15th from 1-6 pm during the final packet drop-off.
Each quarter teachers nominate a student for Breakfast of Champions for the great strides they have made within their class. This can be behaviorally or academically.

The Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary organization of women educators, is offering a $500 scholarship. An applicant must be a junior or senior in college, or a graduate student in the field of education. Questions concerning the application can be directed to Ellen Feeler at 259-4722.
