SHS Freshmen, JV and Varsity Boys Basketball competes at Stewardson Strasburg High School in Stewardson starting at 4:00 PM tomorrow February 13th. No visiting fans will be allowed but the game can be livestreamed on the NFHS network by looking up Stewardson-Strasburg High School in Illinois as well as through their Facebook page at Stew-Stras Schools.
SHS JV and Varsity Boys Basketball are at Central A&M High School in Moweaqua starting at 6:00 PM tonight. Visiting spectators will be limited to one person per rostered player that has a ticket per game level. Individuals that received a JV Boys Basketball ticket from us at the beginning of the season must show their ticket to the Central A&M staff prior to being admitted into the contest starting at 5:45 PM. Individuals that received a Varsity boys basketball ticket from us at the beginning of the season will do the same once they are admitted at the start of the varsity contest. The game can also be livestreamed on the NFHS network by looking up Central A&M High School in Illinois.
Due to the uncertainty of the season because of COVID-19, there has been a change in when Senior Nights will be conducted this winter sports season. SHS Boys Basketball and SHS Basketball Cheer will have their senior night on Friday February 19th. In the event a change has to occur, the alternative date will be Tuesday March 9th. SHS Girls Basketball will have their senior night on Monday February 22nd. In the event a change has to occur, the alternative date will be Thursday March 11th. Additional details on these events will be released soon. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we navigate this current sports season.
The SHS Varsity girls basketball game vs. Warrensburg-Latham will be played first followed by the JV contest starting at 6:00 PM in the SHS gym.
