Brushstrokes of Resilience

"Sullivan High School is excited to announce that junior Natalee Hunter is a national finalist in the Holocaust Art and Writing Contest sponsored by Chapman University (in California) and The 1939 Society (a group of Holocaust survivors, their descendants, and friends). She, her mom, and Ms. Lawson (former SHS English teacher) will be going to Los Angeles for her to be honored on Friday for the incredible short film she made about a Holocaust Survivor. With the support of her family, and the help of Ms. Lawson and some of her classmates, Natalee created this moving video (attached) that has touched the hearts of many. If you are interested in watching the awards ceremony, you can follow this link at 1 pm our time:  www.chapman.edu/holocausteducation/virtualevents.  Great job Natalee, Sullivan Schools are proud of you!  #onetribe "
