Results From Yesterday:

From SHS Volleyball:  The Sullivan varsity volleyball team was defeated tonight at Cerro Gordo: 26-24, 25-13.  Laine Cameron and Gwen Diepholz, together, earned 15 assists. Chloe Riley had 6 kills, followed by Jessica Voyles with 4 kills. Diepholz also helped her team with 8 defensive digs, followed by Maddie Dickens and Elizabeth Green who both picked up 7 digs each during defense.  The JV team was also defeated by Cerro Gordo: 25-6, 25-19. Jerra Goad earned 2 aces, 4 defensive digs, and 5 service receive passes.  Alexis Wallace and Carsyn Seeley each earned 3 kills for their team. The Lady Redskins resume action Thursday night against Clinton for our final home game and Senior Night. 

From SOV JV Football:  The SOV JV Football team hosted St. Teresa last night at Victory Field and was defeated by a score of 36-20.

From SHS Girls Swimming: The SHS girls swimming team kicked off the season competing at Olympia High School and brought home a full sweep of the girls division.  In the individual events, high point awards went to Anna Wooters for 1st place, McKenna Kull, 2nd place, Natalie Drury, 3rd place and Allison Oligschlaeger 4th place.  They also took 1st place in all four relays:  the 200 free with a time of 1:45.59, the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:29.70, the 200 medley with a time of 2:00.14, and the 400 free relay with a time of 3:52.54.

From SMS Girls Basketball:  The SMS girls basketball team hosted Teutopolis Junior High School last night in the Sullivan Elementary School gym.  The 7th grade team was defeated by a score of 44-4 with Chloe Smith and Alaina Moore each adding a basket.  The 8th grade team was also defeated by Teutopolis by a score of 
42-15.  We were down 26-15 at the end of the 3rd quarter, making it a closer game.  Lilly Null had 9 points and Skyla Palmer ended with 6.  We are 2-3 in conference and 4-6 overall.
