Schedule Update (4/16): JH Scholastic Bowl has added an exhibition match @ Mattoon Middle School starting at 4 PM next Tuesday, April 16th.

Karson Robinson and Madeline Anderson were selected to participate in an 8th Grade All-Star Volleyball Tournament. They played with other 8th grade girls from 23 different schools in Illinois. Their team finished in 3rd place! Both girls did a great job representing Sullivan!

Schedule Change: Due to the wind & dropping temperatures MS track meet in Bethany has been cancelled. No reschedule date. Team will practice in the Armory from 3:30 - 4:30.

In honor of Women's History Month, students in Mr. Webb's social studies classes are creating one-pagers about trailblazing women from around the world! 8th grade student Piper Conlin chose to do her one-pager on German pianist Clara Schumann. While practicing for her upcoming piano recital, Piper noticed the name "Schumann" on a piece of music she and her piano teacher had selected. As it turns out, Piper is playing a piece written by Clara's husband, Robert, as part of her recital! Piper was so excited to find out that she is playing a piece of music that Clara herself played! Good luck, Piper!

Busy Tuesday evening for Sullivan Middle School! -JH Scholastic Bowl team begins their season this afternoon @ Arcola starting at 4 PM! -8th Grade Volleyball team plays in the Regional tournament semifinals vs ALAH @ Tuscola East Prairie MS starting around 7:00 PM (20 mins after the previous match @ 6 PM) be sure to arrive early to ensure you do not miss out on the action! Admission is set by the IESA: $3.00 for students K-8 and Senior Citizens 62+ $5.00 for high school students and adults. -7th and 8th Grade Band has a concert in the HS gym this evening starting at 7 PM! 8th Grade volleyball is victorious in the first round of the Regional Tournament! Winners in 2 sets! They will move on to play ALAH on Tuesday night (3/5) around 7:10 (approximately 20 minutes after first match @ 6) at Tuscola East Prairie MS. Good luck ladies! Way to go! #OneTribe

SHS Future Educators were on the road today! Students had the chance to tour Eastern Illinois University, meet with representatives from the EIU College of Education, and stop at Luigi's for lunch!

Time Change (2/22): Tomorrow night's 5/6 Volleyball games at Atwood-Hammond Grade School will now start at 6:30 PM.

Schedule Update (2/27): The 5/6 Volleyball game originally scheduled to be played on Monday, February 26th @ Tuscola East Prairie has been moved to Tuesday, February 27th. Start time 6 PM @ Tuscola East Prairie MS. This is due to Tuscola also hosting the 7th grade Regional and being unable to accommodate the space for a 5/6 game on the original date.
