Senior baseball players honor one teacher/staff member in Sullivan School District for each month of our season. Our seniors this year include Jake Stewart, Adan Mills, Konnor Randol, and Logan Hill, and here are the Sr. T.R.I.B.E. teachers for April: Jake Stewart and Mrs. Badman: "I chose Mrs. Badman for various reasons. One of those is she is an awesome teacher. She not only gets us to learn, but she really cares that we understand what we are learning and why we are learning it in a particular way. She not only is a a great teacher, but a great person and leader. She makes sure everyone is treated right in her classroom and outside of it. She supports Sullivan athletics even outside of baseball. She attends most of the home games for all the boys and girls sports, and it does not go unnoticed. These are some of the main reasons why I chose her for my Senior Tribe month." Adan Mills and Mr. Allen: "I chose Mr. Allen because he's a great leader. He wants the best for every student in the school. He shows that he cares for all the students and staff." Konnor Randol and Coach Black: "I nominated Coach Black for many reasons. The ones I look at the most is that Coach Black always has a positive attitude towards his students even on his bad days. Coach Black wants every student to strive the most in Athletic PE and looks for good progress when lifting. If I ever have a question towards him he always has a good positive answer that I can learn from." Logan Hill and Mr. Huber: "I chose Mr. Huber because he always wants his students to do their best. He will always have a plan to make sure that his students will have a great academic future. Mr. Huber is a great teacher to have for Sullivan High School." Thank you, teachers, for supporting these young men on and off the field. We continue our season with the remaining regular-season games: 4/25- Unity Christan @ Home 4/26- Heritage @ Home 4/29- @ Tri-County 5/3- Charleston @ Home 5/4- Windsor Stew-Stras @ Home (Senior Day) 5/6- Meridian @ Home 5/7- ALAH @ Home 5/9- @ Pana We'd love to see you out there!

NEHS members were thrilled to meet their semester-long pen pals in Mrs. McCain, Mrs. Wilson, and Mrs. Kirk's classes! After a semester of writing weekly letters back and forth, these pen pals got to meet each other and enjoy cookies and juice while visiting, coloring, and working on friendship word searches. One of our favorite days of the year!
