Katie Webb, senior, wrote a "This I Believe" essay for AP Language and submitted it to the NPR Illinois (National Public Radio) Essay Contest. Her essay was chosen as one of the top 10 in the entire state of Illinois. She was invited to Springfield to read her essay aloud to the Rotary Club members and also record it to be played on air.
