Hail, Red and Black

Recently, the Sullivan High School Band had a special visitor. Mr. Joe Pound, Sullivan High School Class of 1955, came and spoke to the band about the history of our school song. In 1954, as a Junior in high school, Mr. Pound wrote the words to Hail, Red and Black for a school song contest. The words were then put to music by Mr. Paul Yoder. The song still stands today, and is played at many Sullivan High School events. The band also played and sang the song for Mr. Pound. A video of this performance can be found here.
