Today's Athletic Events Scheduled:

SOV varsity football hosts Meridian High School as a part of Sullivan High School's homecoming beginning at 7:00 PM.

Results From Last Night:

From SHS Volleyball:  The Sullivan varsity volleyball team was defeated by Meridian last night 25-15, 25-17.  Chloe Riley earned 4 kills and had 2 blocks during the match. Laine Cameron and Gwen Diepholz both earned 5 assists each for the evening. The JV team was also defeated by Meridian: 25-17, 25-8. Lauren West earned 3 kills for her team, and Jerra Goad had 4 blocks at the net.

From SHS Golf:  The varsity boys and girls golf teams competed yesterday at Ironhorse Golf Course in Tuscola against Tuscola and St. Teresa.  The girls team played a little better last night getting two wins and shooting a 201, our season best. We were led in scoring by Addison Darush (43), Esther Miller (51), Alexis Britton (53), and Irie Dulin (54). Our record moves to 12-6 on the year, with our next match at Effingham Country Club against Teutopolis on Monday.  The SHS Boys golf team got back on track Thursday night also at Tuscola. They defeated Tuscola, Tri-Valley and St. Teresa by shooting a 162. We are now 18-1 on the season. We were led by Caden Ellis who shot a 37, Leighton Burcham 38, Drew Rogers 41 and Tim Lawyer 46. 

From SOV Freshmen Football:  The SOV freshmen football team was defeated last night by Villa Grove 46-0.  The team will compete next on 9/28 against Clinton High School.  That game will be played at Okaw Valley High School in Bethany.

Saturday September 23rd Athletic Events:

SHS varsity volleyball competes in a tournament hosted by Arcola High School at 9:00 AM.

SHS cross country competes in the St. Joesph High School Spartan Classic beginning at 9:00 AM.

Other Announcements:

The Sullivan High School Homecoming parade begins at 4:00 PM today from the high school parking lot.
