SHS Junior Varsity Boys Golf hosts Mattoon High School at the Sullivan Country Club at 4:00.
Results From Yesterday:
From SMS Baseball: The SMS baseball team hosted Beecher City Junior High School last night as a part of IESA regional baseball competition. The team competed in a hard-fought contest ultimately falling by a score of 5-3. The team finished with a record of 9 wins and 8 losses on the season.
From SHS Golf: The SHS Boys golf team defeated Okaw Valley last night at Eagle Creek with a score of 167-176. We were led by Caden Ellis with a 39. Leighton Burcham shot a 40, Leyton Ellis 44 and Aiden Short 44. We are now 13-0 on the regular season. The SHS Girls golf team competed at Charleston Country Club last night against Teutopolis and Charleston. The team finished third and Irie Dulin shot the lowest score for Sullivan.
From SHS Volleyball: The Sullivan Volleyball team traveled to Monticello tonight and were defeated 25-14, 25-3. Laine Cameron earned 9 assists for the evening. The JV team was also defeated in two sets: 25-10, 25-23. The first set started slowly for the Lady Redskins, but they quickly turned their game around in the second set. Avery McGregor, Jerra Goad, and Carsyn Seeley all earned 6 kills each. Mallory Nichols did well during service receive and defense, picking up several difficult plays. Seeley was also the high scorer for the night with 11 points.
